On this day, 10 years ago, 21st of April 2015, the Zany Zen Railway was completed, and since then trains have been rattling up and down these sims constantly.

It is hard to believe we have been doing this for the last 10 years, I didn't think the railway would become as loved by many as it has, and i am truly honoured to have had this amount of support over the years. 

so what next? Well I am not planning to stop any time soon! Illios will likely be the final ZZR locomotive built by me, mainly due to lack of storage space! (but we never know what will happen in the future!) but annual events are going to keep happening, and the constant polishing of the ZZR will continue!

Thank you everyone for the support over these 10 years, a railway is very much nothing without its passengers, and yes, i say that a lot, it doesn't make it less true, BUT i recently expanded on it at the birthday bash party, The ZZR is nothing without its passengers, it is nothing without its neighbours, and its nothing without the help i had along the way, i could build the best engines, the best carriages and the best permanent way, but without the community of people who built up around the railway over these last 10 years, i believe it wouldn't be as special as it is now. So thank you from the bottom of my heart, for staying with us all these years, and making this place special.

So onward to 10 more years of the Zany Zen Railway!
