2023 Here We Come!
So this year without a doubt has been a mixed bag for sure! sadly after 2021 i have felt incredibly burnt out, but we did do some amazing projects, Each single one of them i am supah proud of. I honestly couldn't have done most of it with out Amalia who has been a constant source of help and support, Of course we can't forget Angela, Firefly and Eesoov, each one giving me many reasons to smile and have been constant muses for project, Eesoov has of course gone above and beyond becoming a ZZR manager, Head of Goods, Head TimeLady, and donating land to make Cyfnos works possible!

Coming Soon in 2023
So what does 2023 entail for the ZZR? Well i am glad you asked! here is some things we HOPE to achieve in the coming year.
2023 Guards Van
As you have more then likely seen the ZZR Guards van has been somewhat looking a little behind with the times, well.. maybe that is just me, she will be retired this year and replaced with a brand new guards van closer to its RL counter part, and of course, to mark the painful loss from our beautiful narrow gauge community, she will bear the name Nimoui. The current guards van will be housed in the carriage sheds at Cyfnos works and will possibly be part of our visitor train to events.
The Firebox Update
We aim to bring new updates to all steam locomotives with our brand new update; The Firebox update. This update will bring a new level of detail that we hope will draw the eye inside the locomotive cab while in a station PLUS add another layer of soundscaping to the line.
Grand Finale!
A new locomotive. I have said making steam locomotives to me is like ripping a part of my soul out and stuffing it in to a machine, while overly dramatic it is an art form to me, i live sleep breath the locomotive, i spend weeks pouring over pictures planning and planning shapes out in my head. We are going to attempt to bring the stunning locomotive Welsh Pony from the Ffestiniog in to SL! and yes she will be the ZZR's only locomotive with a tender! And the ZZR version of this locomotive will be named Aurora in honour of Neph, the person who helped me start the ZZR ALLLLLLL the way back on the Sunrise Zeppelin.
