Hello!

this be a new non regular blog i think will try and start doing, this blog basically is going to delve in to how the railway is doing and what current projects are going on PLUS my own personal projects!

 What have we been doing?

Honestly, nothing really, 2023 very much decided to kill all my motivation and plans to do some railway projects, both burn out from 2022, my Graphics Card in March going on protest on top of all that. Amalia, our wonderful head engineer has been having health problems, and i have been incredibly worried about her, I just haven't had it in me to start anything massive, basically i am delaying everything on the 2023 Road Map stated in this blog post (Right at the bottom!) https://zanyzenrailway.com/news/post/happy-new-year-from-the-zany-zen-railway to 2024, I am going to take this year off from the big stuff, and just hope things are better next year.

The Little Things

There has been some very small tweaks and changes! some new signs, some new foot crossings, of course we was at SL20B with Seogyeoshire and our own plot! what was utterly wonderful, here is a video of how those exhibits turned out: https://youtu.be/SQd470g69ck PLUS! we had The ZZR's 8th Anny and The Pink Lady turned 10 this year, never did i think we would be have been going this long!

Personal Projects

I've been enjoying doing a few personal projects, working on landscaping a friends parcel, enjoying spending time with friends just not worrying... i built a home! my Tardis, The Bun Burrow, utterly love it, then worked on Eesoov's Tardis! both projects very proud of, then a personal project, a standard gauge train mod for the AT Freight Train, allowing me to explore the "Standard" Gauge railways of SL!

Zany Zen Railway Events.

As always, YES! we will be holding our end of year events, they are way to special not to hold, if you arn't aware of these events, every year during the last few months we host 3 events, Spook Service, what is a halloween event, Tracks to Trenches, a event to remember those who fought in World War 1 and operated the trench railways, and finally Santa Specials, where Santa visits Seogyeo station and is giving out gifts. Dates will be announced in September!

Final Notes

So now you know, The ZZR is still very much alive and kicking, and i still utterly love every second i spend at it, and of course chatting everyone who comes to visit.
